Curbed DC Features African American Architects
This week an article was released highlighting 10 African American Architects who pioneered representation in the field in Washington DC. The article charts the careers of these leaders as far back as the late 1800's and as recent as today; featuring a past NOMA President, Marshall Purnell. As an organization who's primary mission is to champion diversity in the careers of design professions, it serves as an informative read on how the foundation can be laid in a major American city.
