PROJECT PIPELINE PROGRAMMING
WORKSHOPS
At our Project Pipeline Workshops, I-NOMA and NOMAS volunteers go to Chicagoland elementary or middle schools and youth centers to conduct Intro to Architecture seminars. Students are led through a series of design exercises that include sketching and model-making to learn about design as a tool for social change.
CAREER DAY SPEAKER
I-NOMA members are architects and design professionals with diverse backgrounds and we are passionate about the work that we do. As a result, we enjoy sharing our professional experience to inspire future generations of architects that will shape our world. If engaged for a Career Day, I-NOMA will send a design professional(s) to talk about a career in architecture and design and the many different paths that students can follow to get there.
I-NOMA volunteers will discuss:
Educational requirements to become an architect
The unique and exciting challenges of design studio in college
What it’s like to work in Chicago as an architect
If you would like to request a speaker, please follow the link below to tell us more about your event.

We can connect you to these events that are open to the general public, to help you get your students involved.
