Design Build Volunteer Day

Design Build Volunteer Day

  • Rebuilding Exchange (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

The Design Build team has been working with Rebuilding Exchange (RX) to coordinate the build out of the designs the students created at the end of last year. Last year, the Design was done by the students (virtually), but the Build will be done by RX with I-NOMA support. RX has volunteers and employees that will help parts of the build, and we want to extend the same invitation to our I-NOMA members— this will include painting, moving/installing furniture, cleaning, etc. and you may also get the chance to be trained using the RX workshop.

Please sign up below if you’re interested and available with the date and times you can be there. Don’t forget to dress to get dirty. Wear boots, preferably steel toe if you have them, and durable clothes that can get paint or dirt on them. If you have work gloves, bring them as well and please don’t forget to wear masks, wash your hands frequently, and follow all recommended safety precautions (both for COVID and for worker safety while using tools).

You do not have to be present the whole day. We hope you will come help us bring the students’ design to life!
